Home bound.

Recently (December 2013 - January 2014...about 3 weeks in total) I had the wonderful opportunity to go back home...to my homeland, where I was born and spent my childhood.
A little background:
I am a female (not sure if you already figured that one out)
In my 20s
I am of African descent, specifically, Nigeria.

I returned to Nigeria after 9 years; left in 2004 to study in the US where I currently live and work.
As previously stated, it was a privilege going back and I call it that because I know not many people get to go and furthermore, not many get to return.
I had a wonderful time; everything had changed but some things stayed exactly the same! The people, places, culture and weather were great to experience once again and connect with.
For some perspective, I was in Lagos, the major and most populous state/city in Nigeria.

Enjoy some of the sights and landscape of Nigeria, my homeland.

P.S. There are some sights of Liverpool, UK where I stopped over on the way back to the States... Enjoy!

Can I officially say I've been in a Rolls?!

Who knew airplane food could be so yummy!!
